Billie Winner-Davis, Reality Winner's mother, told Business Insider on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is attempting legal representation to aid the former Air Force language analyst contractor and Kingsville native Reality Winner with her case.
Winner pleaded guilty in 2018 to leaking classified National Security Agency information on Russia's alleged efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. She was found guilty of violating the U.S. Espionage Act and sentenced to five years in prison at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 2016 following her separation from six years of active duty, Winner was hired by Pluribus International Corporation under an NSA contract to work out of Fort Gordon, Georgia.
According to ABC News, Winner printed a classified report detailing how Russian hackers allegedly “executed cyber espionage operations” on local election systems and mailed the documents to The Intercept.
She was arrested on June 3, 2017.

Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to campaign violations and tax fraud in 2018, began serving his sentence in May 2019 at the federal penitentiary in Otisville, New York.
He has been under house arrest since July over coronavirus concerns.
Military.com stated that Reality’s mother sent a Twitter message that said “Cohen has asked another attorney to look at the case and for opportunities to help.”

Well, I see after reviewing my pagerank (after complaining to google months ago) that this was never fixed. I wonder if they ever fixed a blog so it could become a .com address (like os9user.com (which is mine)) - I just ran a test using a script I posted months ago , and it shows a "?" on the page rank value , even Google's webmaster utilities shows the same thing. "PageRank not assigned" - Who cares ? Surely not I.They are not the only search engine out there (in fact yahoo search shows more than double the listings when searching for os9user). Yahoo has also offered me to help with their programming troubles, which I had refused, but am now reconsidering.
Google got so big now they could careless about somethings I guess. I see they are being attacked by copyright problems & security companies all over the internet. I would guess this would dominate most of there time, leaving little time for us bloggers.
Google is far my favorite search engine , they offer much more than any other search engine, but I am now looking at transfering all my data to another site. I have been corresponding with other bloggers (which are talking about the same thing), where they ask me what is the best thing to do ? Answer : I do not know just yet.
Since my recovery in Dallas, I now see I need to recover from the internet as well. My stories are being linked to oversea's , and some sites list my name, but do not mention any stories I have posted. The idea here is to tell users how to protect themselves , and which programs and sites are worth anything.
The State Of N.H. is looking into hiring me part time to protect just one network on their system. I have been after this job for years, now it looks like it will be come reality soon. I will have an answer this month , when the board of directors review my application again. ( The 1st time they were blown away ! ) I still show them problems (even yesterday) on how users are beating their system down to get what they want. (Which is prohibited)
To fix my problems is easy. Change the URL. It is a sure fire way to stop all activity. I have been scanning some area's of the internet (which I do not care to mention) , and I see the true story about the internet. To me, the internet should be a great tool for information, not a place for my goverment to spy on me , or for any one company to dictate to me how my site should look. Let's go into detail right here.In my template I have 7 "nofollows" for robots. These show up as errors in Google's robot. They are not Error's. They also show 2 bad URL's. These are errors, but with over 600 postings, (near 700) where are they ? When I examined the error's , they did not show the exact location (or even a clue) as to where they are. If you think I am going to run thru all my postings, and recheck my entire template forget it. This is days of work for 2 error's.
As far as Yahoo goes, they have included my email address (Gmail) in their search engine for every spammer to pick up on. Again, I am not pleased. Most of my personal information was obtained by the DNS , Google & Yahoo. Between the 3 , you can find my old telephone # , my address , name & etc.... (NOT my social security # , or any banking information) , these are not even stored in my comnputer, so they could not get to the internet, no matter how hard someone tries.
Security is still an issue. Somehow, I am not sure a Law Firm broke into my laptop, leaving tracks where I can trace. I am investigating this , and this an inconvience not a problem (I'll take care of them soon) ,but I see I need better security on my network. AVG is reporting virus's that are NOT virus's , and it seems I have to start all over again from scratch , setting up not only my systems, but reprogramming the network with new software as well. This is a major set back in my opinion. I give NO SEARCH engine OR site on the internet the right to publicize my personal information in anyway. If you are doing it, delete my account, for I will report your site.
Fixing my IP, Email, and creating again another site on the internet is easy enough, just time consuming. I have the knowledge to block my ip & email to all if I choose to do so. (running my IP will show "Germany" and using a Temporary Email Address is that answer ).To my sorrow Only a handfull of people are very interested in security , which is a shame, but I will not leave everyone out there, with no defenses to combat this problem. I will keep Blogger, but cut my site in 1/2 (which will improve my speed time) by using a standard template , with a few major postings on "Hot News", the rest of the informaiton will be located elsewhere on the internet.
There is one "Host" that has been bucking me for about 2 years, to relocate on their site, and use it free of charge. Again I am considering, but I ask myself one question..... Is it necessary ? Well, Google has been very nice to me indeed, but their support for users is less than desirable.
I have talked to a few Google employee's about my News Site (this one) and they said, it is not a news site. It is. Just because I don't post about international affair's or atomic weapons, this makes me less of a news site ? I am a proud American. I will not post international affair's which could concern National Security or my goverment, but rather Internet News (mostly) where to tell users where to find the goodies, and which sites/programs to watch for. To me this is news, there are many different types you know.
Security is an issue for all users. If you think for one moment Microsoft Explorer (which 80% of my users to use) will protect you , forget it. It is just a matter of time , before you get an hacker or a virus. Clicking on a picture , or any weird link , could just give you one easily. (remember all sites control what you see, do you know where you are gong after you click, or are you going to load a nasty into your system) - Just becareful, this is my point. For the time being I will continue to use blogger for all my postings, and will be starting to setup all Email/IM/Site(s) all over again. Blogger is very secure for a site (thank god), but I am going to chance this by looking at another "hosting site".
My name 'OS9USER' will not change (note : OS9USER = George Proulx) I will continue to use the same name, but just another URL with all new coding. Well, that is enough complaining , I want everyone to know what is to come.
Site reviews are coming up shortly. I am looking at Firefox 3.0 now, and I am not impresed at all. Most of my addons do not work , and there is no really noticable change, other than my explorer does not work like it did before. I am sure they will update the addons soon, so I am going to wait for that. I will have a full report on Firefox 3.0 (Gran Paradiso) shortly.
Please note, my internet connection is now very secure , and I am in no danger of loosing it. 1 Problem solved. If any user has any opinions or comments (like where to get more security , or programs they wish me to review I will do so) , just leave a comment on this site, and I'll catch it. Those bloggers that use Mybloglog, may leave their comments there as well.
