Billie Winner-Davis, Reality Winner's mother, told Business Insider on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is attempting legal representation to aid the former Air Force language analyst contractor and Kingsville native Reality Winner with her case.
Winner pleaded guilty in 2018 to leaking classified National Security Agency information on Russia's alleged efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. She was found guilty of violating the U.S. Espionage Act and sentenced to five years in prison at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 2016 following her separation from six years of active duty, Winner was hired by Pluribus International Corporation under an NSA contract to work out of Fort Gordon, Georgia.
According to ABC News, Winner printed a classified report detailing how Russian hackers allegedly “executed cyber espionage operations” on local election systems and mailed the documents to The Intercept.
She was arrested on June 3, 2017.
Amazing! Thank you. My daughter Reality Leigh Winner is yet another victim of this admin. Doing hard time for bringing the truth to light. #FreeRealityWinnerhttps://t.co/wU0sg3LeRs
Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to campaign violations and tax fraud in 2018, began serving his sentence in May 2019 at the federal penitentiary in Otisville, New York.
He has been under house arrest since July over coronavirus concerns.
Military.com stated that Reality’s mother sent a Twitter message that said “Cohen has asked another attorney to look at the case and for opportunities to help.”

Microsoft Updates Crash Vista Users !
October 12, 2007
Microsoft does again, but this time it is Vista users that takes the hit. These are the 1st three error's we see when Vista is booting up. After this is another 7 errors, stating Yahoo IM, our firewall, One Care & many other programs failed to start.
Start (Menu) , Control Panel and many other services are disabled as well. Instead of telling you what does not work, it would be easier to tell you what DOES work. If it is not listed here, it is disabled (or contains errors).
The following programs work fine :
Firefox 2.0
PrintScreen
Netgear (WG311NA) Software (Wireless Card)
This is it. Any other program generates errors.
Below is a PrintScreen (Screenshot) of what we see. Following these 3 errors, there are 7 more behind them (basically stating that applications failed to start). From looking at the picture below, you can see Solitaire, Firefox, and our install program for our firewall. Besides pictures, this is all that is loaded into a "Brand New" Emachine used in our tutorial.
We did get to the control panel once, and saw the 3 AM update on Wensday by Microsoft in the logs. But now we have no access to the control panel, (or any utility) , So this is what I do next. Click Start then without clicking anywhere, type in CMD and hit enter. To my amazement I could get to a command shell (I was exspecting errors). The 1st thing I checked was the log in c:\windows\windowsupdate.log here is the last entry in that file ....
In Windows XP I could run two commands fixboot and fixmbr to restore boot loader. In Vista, You can do this by booting to the Vista DVD. Then select the "Repair" option. Follow the on-screen prompts from there. This will replace the boot loader in Vista. So, I tried it, and with no disappointment, that did not work either, but was worth a shot.
So next, I want to see the system logs again. So I,Click the Start button, In the Search field, type in: compmgmtlauncher. Oops ! I forgot I was using the CMD shell. This command is not working either. At this point I do not see any reason to even try to repair this computer, so I am going to collect what information I can , and get it on a CD.
Now at the waste of time & money, I have to reload this system (Thanx Microsoft) , from the restore CD. Is Microsoft helping me ?? Surely not !
IN THE FUTURE : You might see a dramatic fall-off of Microsoft stocks ! HUH ?
People are smart, after the major screw-up's with Vista, do you think for a moment, when they announce their next Operating System, that everyone will rush out and get it ??? Probably NOT.
After this great disappointment with Vista, I think they will not even come close to their quota. People will "Wait and See" , on how the next Operating System was reviewed before running out and getting it.
To my great surprise, NO PC makers have sued Microsoft yet, for a major drop in computer sales. Nobody wants a computer with Vista in it. They want XP.
Say's who ??? I would love to tell ya, but I told them I would not publish their names. I can say they are in the top ten S&P 500 companies.
But they did leave me with a story. It seems that they wanted 6 state-of-the-art computers. So, they sent out their senior tech out to get them, with Windows XP.
After going to 5 stores, he was un-able to get what he wanted. The sales people claim " You can not buy a computer without Vista", and his reply was "Then you do not want my business". On the 6th attempt, they got what they wanted. 6 Computers , all state-of-the-art, all with Windows XP installed.
Here are some tips to prevent you from going thru all of this :
Get rid of Internet Explorer 6
Try alternatives to other programs that have been targeted by zero-day attacks. The free Foxit program displays PDFs, for instance, and OpenOffice works with many Office documents.
Consider choosing antivirus programs or security suites that include heuristic and/or behavioral analysis to protect your PC against as-yet-unknown dangers.
Use a preventive-measure program such as DropMyRights to supplement your antivirus software or security suite.

If you have the chance , you might want to reload your old Windows XP , and make sure you follow my instructions , on how to disable the Update Feature. We do not cripple the feature, just disable it, so It can not be used by Microsoft. It is an easy 3 step procedure. For those of you like Jim (This Computer Owner), he is going to stay with Vista, and ride it out.
Special Thanx To Jim, for loaning us his computer for this article. I am sorry, I was unable to restore it back , but it has been to badly damaged by the internet. We will be restoring Vista, and all of Jim's Pictures for him after this article.
I forgot to clearly state a few things... 1st, clicking on any desktop icon, or any command function other than CMD generated an error.
System restore did not work either.
This computer was totally useless after being online all-night tues morning and recieved an update on wens at 3:00 am.
The owner could not figure this out, this is why I got it. After seeing an article about problems with this update, we followed this story.
There is another story from Zdnet, the tile is " After Patch Tuesday this week (October 9), some Windows Vista users noticed something strange " , that caused me to look into this mess. Enjoy the read !
"(Biden’s) own chief of staff, Ron Klain, would say last year that it was pure luck, that they did ‘everything possible wrong’ (with H1N1). And we learned from that."
"There are estimates that by the end of the term of this administration, they will have lost more jobs than almost any other presidential administration."
That Rose Garden event — there's been a great deal of speculation about it — my wife Karen and I were there and honored to be there. Many of the people who were at that event, Susan, were actually tested for coronavirus, and it was an outdoor event, which all of our scientists r...
