Billie Winner-Davis, Reality Winner's mother, told Business Insider on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is attempting legal representation to aid the former Air Force language analyst contractor and Kingsville native Reality Winner with her case.
Winner pleaded guilty in 2018 to leaking classified National Security Agency information on Russia's alleged efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. She was found guilty of violating the U.S. Espionage Act and sentenced to five years in prison at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 2016 following her separation from six years of active duty, Winner was hired by Pluribus International Corporation under an NSA contract to work out of Fort Gordon, Georgia.
According to ABC News, Winner printed a classified report detailing how Russian hackers allegedly “executed cyber espionage operations” on local election systems and mailed the documents to The Intercept.
She was arrested on June 3, 2017.
Amazing! Thank you. My daughter Reality Leigh Winner is yet another victim of this admin. Doing hard time for bringing the truth to light. #FreeRealityWinnerhttps://t.co/wU0sg3LeRs
Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to campaign violations and tax fraud in 2018, began serving his sentence in May 2019 at the federal penitentiary in Otisville, New York.
He has been under house arrest since July over coronavirus concerns.
Military.com stated that Reality’s mother sent a Twitter message that said “Cohen has asked another attorney to look at the case and for opportunities to help.”

To keep our data safe & portable we have chosen the Cruzer Titanium 4GB Flash Drive. With a price tag of $99.99 it includes Skype, CruzerSync desktop synchronization, Avast antivirus, and Signup Shield password manager installed on it. Our Cruzer did not have Ready Boost (Vista only) installed on it, but that is okay. Under XP you can run Eboostr which will do basically the same thing.
Imagine carrying your software on the same flash drive that carries your files. That’s what you can do with a U3 smart drive. You can plug it into any PC and work, play a game, message friends, send email, edit photos and more. A U3 smart drive makes any PC your own PC. And when you unplug it, it leaves no personal data behind.
U3 smart drives differ from traditional USB flash drives because they come pre-installed with the U3 Launchpad, which emulates the Windows OS start menu, and controls program installation.
Most U3 drives on the market feature a security lock within the U3 Launchpad. This loads the CD partition first and can be user-configured to require a password to be entered; otherwise the data partition will not load. The drive is supposed to seal itself after a certain number of invalid password entries, requiring a reformat.
Package Factory is an application you can use to create U3 installations from your own applications, and install them on the U3 USB stick. I tried it on various programs and it all worked. You just need the .exe and if necessary the required DLL, click the ‘create’ button and there you have it!
However, I am not going to use this utility. Instead I am moving the programs straight to my Flash Drive & creating an autorun.inf file that will execute a menu that I have created. Even after installing all my files to my new Flash Drive, I still have %50 left on my 4Gig toy.
Using my method over Package Factory helps my system performance under Windows XP. The U3 Launchpad slows down my computer and is really noticeable on the boot.
One problem I had is with FireFox 2.0.0.11 is that it would not install any extensions. To solve this problem I created a shortcut to my FireFox and added -profilemanager as a command line parameter. Now I have multiple accounts under FireFox that I and my staff can customize and use. Each to their own taste. Nice !
U3 is a technology promoted by U3 LLC, a joint venture between ScanDisk and its subsidiary M-Systems, according to the U3-Info site. To use U3 applications, you must buy a U3 flash drive (you can't convert any old flash drive to U3) and install U3-compliant software. U3.com provides a list of both hardware and software that's U3-compliant.
When you mount the CD drive, there's three files waiting for you: LaunchPad.zip and LaunchU3.exe (containing the U3 software), and an autorun.inf that executes LaunchU3.exe whenever you plug in the drive. Since there are 2 partitions on the Flash Drive 2 drive letters are created in my computer. ScanDisk lets you download a U3-removal utility for its drives. U3.com provides a similar utility for non-ScanDisk drives. ScanDisk also provides a free tool for reinstalling the U3 LaunchPad, if you want it back later.
I do not recommend removing the U3 programs at all !
Con's :
U3 Smart drive will not work on Macs or Linux
Only U3-compliant software can be added to Menu (U3P)
Software from U3.com is rubbish
Slower system performance
Pro's :
Does not write to the registry under Windows
Plenty of storage
Drag & Drop your favorite software easily (2nd partition)
Bottom Line : After 4 hours of research I see no benefit of converting DLL or EXE to U3P. It is better to drag and drop applications to your Flash Drive and run them. Furthermore, after reading many hours of reading "complaints" , I do not think it is worth the aggravation to make one partition and gain very little space in the process. I do not think any of us are hurting for drive letters.
Just disable the AutoRun , and use it as if it was a "Normal" drive. Make a menu to point to your programs, and take it with you on your journey's. When you are ready to use it, just pop it in, and let your OWN autorun file activate your menu's for you.
Watch for Part 3 of "Nifety Utilities For Your Flash Drive". Not one program that was U3-compliant tickled my brain. I much rather have my own stuff, as I am sure you would as well.

That Rose Garden event — there's been a great deal of speculation about it — my wife Karen and I were there and honored to be there. Many of the people who were at that event, Susan, were actually tested for coronavirus, and it was an outdoor event, which all of our scientists r...
