Billie Winner-Davis, Reality Winner's mother, told Business Insider on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is attempting legal representation to aid the former Air Force language analyst contractor and Kingsville native Reality Winner with her case.
Winner pleaded guilty in 2018 to leaking classified National Security Agency information on Russia's alleged efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. She was found guilty of violating the U.S. Espionage Act and sentenced to five years in prison at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 2016 following her separation from six years of active duty, Winner was hired by Pluribus International Corporation under an NSA contract to work out of Fort Gordon, Georgia.
According to ABC News, Winner printed a classified report detailing how Russian hackers allegedly “executed cyber espionage operations” on local election systems and mailed the documents to The Intercept.
She was arrested on June 3, 2017.
Amazing! Thank you. My daughter Reality Leigh Winner is yet another victim of this admin. Doing hard time for bringing the truth to light. #FreeRealityWinnerhttps://t.co/wU0sg3LeRs
Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to campaign violations and tax fraud in 2018, began serving his sentence in May 2019 at the federal penitentiary in Otisville, New York.
He has been under house arrest since July over coronavirus concerns.
Military.com stated that Reality’s mother sent a Twitter message that said “Cohen has asked another attorney to look at the case and for opportunities to help.”

Internet users are not using the Internet Correctly
March 22, 2008
Today, I wanted to start the news off with some comments. I can guarantee you this article will be well worth the read.
First I want to start off by talking about people, and end talking briefly about your computer. My opinions are not an attack on anyone person, so do not take them wrong. This is about people in general from my stand point.
After 2 years operating a news room, I see trends. Not only thru my logs, but in Email, Postings on other sites, and direct attacks generated by People. Not only bloggers, but websites and the News Media themselves. I just read a news article that said (in summary) "Bloggers should Unite and take on CNET". Let me breaking this down in 2 parts. Bloggers Unite & CNET.
First, Bloggers are well capable of breaking news before any major media. I have done it many times in the past. Surprisingly I see more S & P companies reading my site everyday (and monitoring it). Well this is all fine and dandy, people are not using the internet correctly or more precisely WISELY. This is what I want to talk about. PEOPLE are using the internet to provoke direct attacks. Either on a website or you. Yesterday, I saw on Digg.com a link that would have infected your computer with a virus the minute you watch the video. You need not download anything to watch a video. Remember that. If one plays they will all play. Direct attack on people - Virus. More about this later on.
Next, attacking a News Media Website is dead wrong. I would hope if you have nothing good to say, you do not post anything on your blog. It is fine (and I do it here) to post security related or warning messages to your readers. As long as you post some good news somewhere, on where people can find their "Goodies" like software protection or something spectacular they did not know about in the 1st place. This is a Good News Source. This is where I would want to visit, and you should take the time as well. People can be silly sometimes, and say "Well I saw it on the internet on a news site". Big deal ! - I would say I landed on the moon, would you believe it ?
Okay, enough about that, let me end this article talking about your computer. First an most importantly you control your computer. Your computer does not control you. If you are wrestling with your computer, then you are definitely doing something wrong on your end. Most of the "Jobs" should be automated. Ex : Backup , Scans and Updates. But more importantly I want to talk about a subject nobody here really cares about is security. Repeatedly I tell people, if they wish to buy something, grab the phone and call for it. Do not use your computer. If your banking information or personal information never hits the keyboard, you never have anything to worry about. But, unfortunately this is not the case.
More & more people are taken in every day by scams, virus or theft. I do not care about "How much security you have", you can never have enough to stop ALL attacks. If there was such a thing, your computer would crawl (on the floor) and you would wait forever for your computer to finish up just one thing.
So what is a person to do ?
The answer is easy , 2 part and quick. Until you get a grip on the internet, (and there is alot to learn) I suggest you take these 2 tiny steps. Backup your entire hard drive. By doing this all your security programs (and answers) to your ' yes/no ' questions would also be saved along with every bit of vital information you have on your computer. This would give you much more time to customize your system, and not worry about knocking anything out. You will have a "Registered" copy of your operating system, and all your customized programs intact within arms reach.
Only 1/2 hour loss of time, okay, I can live with that.
The 2nd part, is be nice to your computer, by visiting sites you really trust. This can be accomplished many ways. I write about sites, or provide links here to articles I have found news worthy. Well, it is one source, but another could be software. Like McAfee Site Advisor, use it. It works like a traffic light.
The last way is you. Do not be fooled by getting something for nothing. Example : "Fill out this short application, and we will mail you a Playstation 3 for FREE". This would surely be a sign of some kind of scam. Either they are tracking your email with IP to link them together somehow, or they want your credit card number. Credit cards are only worth Fifty Cents on the black market, so a hacker needs thousands to make any kind of money. They would be extremely foolish if they try to use them.
My point, do not key in your personal information ever. When online, becareful where you visit. Use some tools to help you find the "right" sites to visit. Backup your computer weekly and lastly ... Have fun. The internet is a great teacher. If you are looking for "How to do" something, it is a great teacher. Currently, I am using it to help me learn how my last attack was done. I think I have found out how, and where the attack was generated. This is news, and I will share it when my investigation is complete.
A few warnings : When reloading your computer and you are connected to the internet, do not click on any popup that says something about your registry being corrupt. This scam comes from Microsoft's messenger and with no security in place, you might find yourself loading in a few trojans right out of the box. Click on the tiny X on the top right to rid yourself of this pest, and disable messenger right away. Also disable updates & put Bits to manual (for those tech guru's).
There are many ways "to Catch-Ya" , so I strongly urge all to consider my words. If you are interested, contact me, I'll tell you anything I know, and I will research anything I do not.
Since the early days of the old IBM PC XT (dos 3.1) until now, I have been learning computers and how they operate. I do not think there is anything I could not do, given enough time.
"(Biden’s) own chief of staff, Ron Klain, would say last year that it was pure luck, that they did ‘everything possible wrong’ (with H1N1). And we learned from that."
"There are estimates that by the end of the term of this administration, they will have lost more jobs than almost any other presidential administration."
That Rose Garden event — there's been a great deal of speculation about it — my wife Karen and I were there and honored to be there. Many of the people who were at that event, Susan, were actually tested for coronavirus, and it was an outdoor event, which all of our scientists r...
