Billie Winner-Davis, Reality Winner's mother, told Business Insider on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is attempting legal representation to aid the former Air Force language analyst contractor and Kingsville native Reality Winner with her case.
Winner pleaded guilty in 2018 to leaking classified National Security Agency information on Russia's alleged efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. She was found guilty of violating the U.S. Espionage Act and sentenced to five years in prison at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 2016 following her separation from six years of active duty, Winner was hired by Pluribus International Corporation under an NSA contract to work out of Fort Gordon, Georgia.
According to ABC News, Winner printed a classified report detailing how Russian hackers allegedly “executed cyber espionage operations” on local election systems and mailed the documents to The Intercept.
She was arrested on June 3, 2017.
Amazing! Thank you. My daughter Reality Leigh Winner is yet another victim of this admin. Doing hard time for bringing the truth to light. #FreeRealityWinnerhttps://t.co/wU0sg3LeRs
Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to campaign violations and tax fraud in 2018, began serving his sentence in May 2019 at the federal penitentiary in Otisville, New York.
He has been under house arrest since July over coronavirus concerns.
Military.com stated that Reality’s mother sent a Twitter message that said “Cohen has asked another attorney to look at the case and for opportunities to help.”

59% of Internet Users View A Video Every Week (Survey)
April 23, 2008
More than half (59%) of internet users worldwide view at least one video clip every week, according to Universal McCann.
The media agency's latest research on social media surveyed 17,000 people across 29 countries, including the US, UK, Brazil and Pakistan during March 2008.
It found nearly three quarters (73%) of internet users have read blogs while 48% read blogs every week.
The survey showed an increase in social media consumption compared to last year's survey. Some 83% of internet users watch video clips, up from 62% in 2007.
In South Korea, over three quarters (77%) of internet users read blogs every week, while just 58% read the mainstream press.
Podcasts are listened to by half (48%) of internet users while 57% of respondents said they are a member of a social network.
Other findings include 31% of respondents have started a blog while 55% have shared photos online.
Nearly three-quarters (71 percent) of online video users would prefer to watch an ad before a video in order to watch the video for free, while 23 percent say they'd rather pay for ad-free videos.
Most frequently viewed videos include:
News: 72%
Television or movie clips: 59%
Music videos: 48%
Sports highlights: 44%
Amateur videos: 43%
Concert highlights: 23%
Full-length movies or TV shows: 22%
Live sporting events: 17%
Video podcasts: 17%
Live concerts: 9%
There's no question that online video usage is growing faster than most predicted, particularly as more diverse, appealing and high quality branded video content is being made available on the Web.
As more and more Web users adopt broadband, demand for online video of all types, including news, music videos and concerts, TV and movies, sports highlights, and user generated video mash-ups will continue to grow at a very fast pace.
I am very pleased with this survey because the news videos came in at a whooping %72 .

That Rose Garden event — there's been a great deal of speculation about it — my wife Karen and I were there and honored to be there. Many of the people who were at that event, Susan, were actually tested for coronavirus, and it was an outdoor event, which all of our scientists r...
