Billie Winner-Davis, Reality Winner's mother, told Business Insider on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is attempting legal representation to aid the former Air Force language analyst contractor and Kingsville native Reality Winner with her case.
Winner pleaded guilty in 2018 to leaking classified National Security Agency information on Russia's alleged efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. She was found guilty of violating the U.S. Espionage Act and sentenced to five years in prison at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 2016 following her separation from six years of active duty, Winner was hired by Pluribus International Corporation under an NSA contract to work out of Fort Gordon, Georgia.
According to ABC News, Winner printed a classified report detailing how Russian hackers allegedly “executed cyber espionage operations” on local election systems and mailed the documents to The Intercept.
She was arrested on June 3, 2017.
Amazing! Thank you. My daughter Reality Leigh Winner is yet another victim of this admin. Doing hard time for bringing the truth to light. #FreeRealityWinnerhttps://t.co/wU0sg3LeRs
Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to campaign violations and tax fraud in 2018, began serving his sentence in May 2019 at the federal penitentiary in Otisville, New York.
He has been under house arrest since July over coronavirus concerns.
Military.com stated that Reality’s mother sent a Twitter message that said “Cohen has asked another attorney to look at the case and for opportunities to help.”

Ever since the new layout was posted on MyBlogLog, I stopped using it. Navigating around the site was increasingly harder to do the simplest of things.
I am not the only one that feels this way. Bloggers have expressed their concerns about MBL. When BLOGGERS emailing MBL about their new layout, their emails were meet with silence !
So today, I posted a note in MBL , that they should poll themselves on the new layout. Lets see if they take my friendly advise.
But here are some questions I can not answer :
1) Are they doing this on purpose to drive users away before the Microsoft take-over ?
2) Do they realize the power in the Blogging community in which site owners will just go some place else if they are dis- satisfied with MBL ?
Bloggers are powerful. MBL has much potential. Most Bloggers have accounts on MBL where they could communicate among themselves freely. Before the buy-out of MBL we all saw the comment system go thru yet another change because of spam. In addition, MBL was also so kind to put in an alternate Email address you could login with (like Gmail). Today this has been all altered or removed. Yet another set back or delay.
I like MBL. If they rounded up all the millions of Bloggers just on Blogspot alone, they would have more than enough support to keep the site going for along time. But I do not see this. Like with any corporate giant, it is their way or the highway.
I made a suggestion to OPT OUT of this new horrible template. I have no idea if they would even consider this option, this is where you come into play. If you agree with me, then leave them a note on their own Blog. Here is the LINK.
Tell them what you think, if presented with the option of our way or the highway, I suggest you take the highway option. There are always alternatives to MBL.
But first, I strongly urge you to tell them what you think !
In the past, it was a great place to send private messages to other bloggers (on or offline).
It is a great place to find other bloggers. However, I like simplicity.
Meaning : I do not want to click 20 times, when I need to click just once. (Before : Clicking on your pic , and send private message , and the message. Easy. Not today ! )
If the Pisstakers was using MBL to run their contest today, they would be pulling their hair out. What usually would be quick and easy , would not be if you had to look up the contestor's of the contest.
I would not want to do it. I would start a database of my own 1st.
Ever hear of the KISS principle ?
Keep it simple stupid !

I joined MBL when it was for stats. I joined so I could see referrers and what links were clicked. That's all I wanted from the site and that's all I still use it for. I never liked the community features. So many other sites do that far better and there are easier ways to find blogs to read. I managed to find hundreds without using MBL for that. I think the new layout is nice enough, but all I do is click on my stats once a night or so.

That Rose Garden event — there's been a great deal of speculation about it — my wife Karen and I were there and honored to be there. Many of the people who were at that event, Susan, were actually tested for coronavirus, and it was an outdoor event, which all of our scientists r...
