Leaking Classified NSA Information

Billie Winner-Davis, Reality Winner's mother, told Business Insider on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is attempting legal representation to aid the former Air Force language analyst contractor and Kingsville native Reality Winner with her case.

Winner pleaded guilty in 2018 to leaking classified National Security Agency information on Russia's alleged efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. She was found guilty of violating the U.S. Espionage Act and sentenced to five years in prison at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.

In 2016 following her separation from six years of active duty, Winner was hired by Pluribus International Corporation under an NSA contract to work out of Fort Gordon, Georgia.

According to ABC News, Winner printed a classified report detailing how Russian hackers allegedly “executed cyber espionage operations” on local election systems and mailed the documents to The Intercept.

She was arrested on June 3, 2017.

Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to campaign violations and tax fraud in 2018, began serving his sentence in May 2019 at the federal penitentiary in Otisville, New York.

He has been under house arrest since July over coronavirus concerns.

Military.com stated that Reality’s mother sent a Twitter message that said “Cohen has asked another attorney to look at the case and for opportunities to help.”

Things That Need to be Said...a critique. part 1

June 13, 2020

It seems like forever-ago that the Twitterverse exploded as the Twitter bird-in-chief gave the clarion call for his second amendment supporters to free the states of Michigan and Minnesota. For days the media showed footage of Twitter-bird sycophants outside the statehouse with guns and ignorance on full display for the whole world to see. However in recent weeks following the murder of George Floyd their silence has been deafening. Where have you been hiding, what are you so afraid of?

Your guns and rifles do not defend against tyranny because... guess what? It turns out that their weapons are bigger than yours! In Michigan, you used your right to bear arms to intimidate....but to intimidate who? Surely not law enforcement, since they didn’t show up in riot gear ready to declare war on your anti lockdown protest. Your movement sought to assert your right of free speech, in order to regain your employment. yet you spoke not a word about people whose jobs had disappeared, or the poor, or the elderly, or the disabled...your words only demanding corporate America to allow you to kneel at the shrine of their profits. Are you so blind that you would risk YOUR life or THEIR profits?

What kind of message does it send when citizens are told it’s safe to go to work, but not safe for others to be out in the streets for fear of arrest. You sure as hell found your way to Minneapolis to protect small businesses. Clearly not offering any support/protection to the protestors, while their rights to free speech were being brutally attacked by law enforcement. So, again, I ask where the hell have you been hiding? If you can protect the profits of corporations, but not the anger of protestors reacting to a murder committed in broad daylight, then you are little more than cowards. You obviously do not support the constitutional rights of your fellow citizens.

In granting a right, the second amendment also imposes a duty. To not use the second amendment to protect and defend the rights of our fellow citizens is an abdication of our moral, ethical, and social duties. Do you not know that the 1st amendment is responsible, in part, for the freedoms granted by the 2nd amendment. Isn’t toting your arms to a statehouse an expression of free speech?

I’m Just Thinking that it’s time for small men with even smaller minds to pack up their shiny toys and return to their well-stocked bunkers where they will be safe from the righteous anger of the multitudes.  You can come out when the real work of social change has been accomplished by real supporters of the constitution. You will be free to once again show off your big rifles, along with your cowardice and ignorance. And even though I may disagree with you, I will defend your right to express your views.
