Billie Winner-Davis, Reality Winner's mother, told Business Insider on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is attempting legal representation to aid the former Air Force language analyst contractor and Kingsville native Reality Winner with her case.
Winner pleaded guilty in 2018 to leaking classified National Security Agency information on Russia's alleged efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. She was found guilty of violating the U.S. Espionage Act and sentenced to five years in prison at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 2016 following her separation from six years of active duty, Winner was hired by Pluribus International Corporation under an NSA contract to work out of Fort Gordon, Georgia.
According to ABC News, Winner printed a classified report detailing how Russian hackers allegedly “executed cyber espionage operations” on local election systems and mailed the documents to The Intercept.
She was arrested on June 3, 2017.

Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to campaign violations and tax fraud in 2018, began serving his sentence in May 2019 at the federal penitentiary in Otisville, New York.
He has been under house arrest since July over coronavirus concerns.
Military.com stated that Reality’s mother sent a Twitter message that said “Cohen has asked another attorney to look at the case and for opportunities to help.”

Hey Bernie, are you hiding from the anger of your former supporters? Bernie Sanders betrayed those who donated money. time and effort to his campaign. This is a repeat of 2016 when he also refused to wage a battle for the democratic nomination. He bragged about creating a movement and then abandoned that very movement at a critical moment; a moment when they might have been able to make a real difference in the current political landscape.
Bernie continually bragged that small dollar donors were the power behind your campaign NOT the billionaires. But in the end the small donors didn’t matter as much as Joe Biden's big corporate donors. did they? I guess you were lying every time you uttered the campaign phrase. “NOT ME, US”. Because when all was said and done it was all about you and your political survival. you turned deaf, dumb and blind to the needs and desires of the Democratic electorate.
This betrayal should come as no surprise to anyone who watched the 2016 campaign unfold. During this current campaign season Mr. Sanders turned a blind eye to the treatment of the DNC towards his most ardent supporter in 2016. Tulsi Gabbard gave up her position at the DNC and called out how the DNC was cheating Bernie Sanders. Tulsi was an outspoken supporter of Bernie Sanders in 2016. So where was Bernie when Tulsi would have benefitted from his support the current election cycle? I guess, just like all those working class donors, she outlived her usefulness to his election campaign.
After proclaiming Trump to be the most dangerous president in modern times, you throw in the towel and hand the nomination to Joe Biden and the DNC elite. You have become an ass kissing coward, too weak to fight the DNC elite as M4A is removed from the party platform. Great job Bernie! One has to question how hard you would've fought for it had you been elected. I realize Trump is a racist and possibly an existential threat, but is Biden any less so?
Biden co-authored the anti-crime bill that is an existential threat to black, brown and poor people all over the country. Hell, Joe Biden has been having wet dreams about cutting Medicare, Social Security and Veterans benefits. Dating from the 1990’s, Joe Biden has bragged about trying to decrease these benefits “not once, not twice, not three times, but even tried a fourth time”. I, personally, find that to be an existential threat. I wonder if our veterans might also feel existentially threatened. Yes, I understand that ‘friend’, Joe is now claiming to have changed that position. However, fighting that long for something demonstrates a belief and commitment to bring it to fruition. I don’t believe a leopard changes his spots after 20 years!!
